The Windmill stands in my garden. It was built in 1824 as a working grain mill, but is now fully fitted out as a modern dwelling that will sleep up to four people.
It is situated in a quiet, picturesque, rural location next to the nature reserve. There is a path down the hill to the River Ant where the old sailing wherries used to moor to bring their grain up to the windmill to be ground into flour. You are completely free, while staying in the mill, to make every use of these mooring facilities, (boat hire available near-by.)
The mill has its own private garden with suitable garden furniture, barbecue and a clothes line; children are welcome to play in any of the five acres (livestock permitting.)
